Trauma Therapy Online Across Australia

A compassionate, non-pathologising space where all parts of you are welcome.

hi there!

I offer individual therapy for adults seeking a deeper, more compassionate understanding of themselves. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), DBT-informed strategies, and body-based awareness.

Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” I’m interested in how your system has learned to adapt, survive, and protect you. Together, we gently explore these patterns - building clarity, steadiness, and self-trust along the way.

In addition to IFS and TCTSY, I am trained in and utilise a number or evidence based modalities including Dialectical behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

My Approach

A Non-Pathologising Lens

I believe that symptoms often make sense in the context of lived experience. Anxiety, shutdown, self-criticism, perfectionism, emotional intensity - these are often protective responses, not flaws. Behaviours or ways of coping that may appear extreme or unhelpful are adaptive responses to threat and power that were necessary for survival.

Therapy with me is collaborative and curious. We slow down, make space for reflection, and move at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system. Together we can make sense of ways of coping that may have previously been labelled as pathology or a “diagnosis” and support you towards embodied healing.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS (often called “parts work”) recognises that we all have different parts within us — protective parts, striving parts, critical parts, vulnerable parts.

In therapy, we gently get to know these parts so they no longer have to work so hard. This often leads to:

  • Reduced internal conflict

  • Greater emotional regulation

  • Increased self-compassion

  • A deeper sense of inner stability

Mind–Body Awareness

Trauma and stress live not only in thoughts, but in the body.

I integrate principles from Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) and nervous system awareness to support:

  • Reconnection with bodily signals

  • Increased capacity for grounding

  • Greater sense of safety and agency

  • Increased ability to make choices based on your own embodied experience.

This work is invitational and always choice-based.
